Cancelled again *Edit*

My flight was cancelled again. After three hours of making phone calls between airlines, my boss, the hotel, and the shuttle service, I’m rebooked on United for tomorrow morning at 6:15 (unconfirmed.) So I’ll be getting up at 3am to make sure I’m at the airport early enough. There’s a connecting flight in Washington (DCA) that is confirmed, but I have to get there first. 🙂 I should be arriving in Florida by 12:15pm tomorrow, so I can still get in a half day of conference sessions. I think I have a fever.

About 2 to 2.5 hours of that time as spent on hold, and about 1.5 hours of that was on hold with the AmEx “Emergency” travel number which took 20 minutes to just past the busy signal. Only to find out that they could do nothing for for me.

I’m glad I got to stay home today to help shovel the 12+ inches of snow off the driveway and stuff. At least it’s not me that will be out all the extra hundreds of dollars this is going to cost, and I’m only missing things my boss wants me to see/do. I’m glad I’m not going to get to a funeral or something important like that.
