I’ve been reading 20th Century Philosophers: The Age of Analysis by Morton White (Introduction) (Paperback – 1955) on the bus. It started out with a good introduction, but the first few philosophers were a little dry. So far I’ve enjoyed reading Jean-Paul Sartre the most. I have his Existentialism and Human Emotions, but even as short as that is I never finished reading it since I’m easily distracted.
Anyway, I’ll probably finish White’s book next week and then I have so many more books to read! I think something by Plato is next on the list.
That’s all my new for now. Exciting, huh?
I could barely keep in my seat I was so excited! 🙂 In high school I wrote a thesis on Sartre. I researched him a little bit more in college. I find existentialism interesting. I agree with the theory that our choices make up who we are. I know there’s a lot more to it, but that is how I’ve always simplified the ideas. Hope you’re well! 🙂

I can tell what it is you truly love and what you should be studying. *sigh* I wish you weren’t stuck with all those stupid Gen Ed courses and computer courses.
