Damnit opendiary! I had a whole entry typed and OD deleted it.
Basic gist is that my review went well; people are speaking very highly of me and they anticipate that I will start being recruited by other areas as my name gets out. They see me as a people leader, possibly going towards management or a consultant job.
I’m going to be getting a raise, but she couldnt tell me how much she asked for because HR hadn’t approved it yet.
I don’t plan to tell John when I get my raise. He doesn’t know how much I make now, so it’s pretty irrelevant how much I will be making. As log as the bills are paid.
And now for the low. I have a friend on Facebook with a three year old son. He’s only a few months older than Connor. Her son was born with Esophageal Atresia and Tracheoesophageal Fistula. He’s been in and out of the hospital much of his three years. They’ll do surgery and he’ll get better for a while, then he’ll get really sick again and spend a month or more in the hospital. Over and over again. Now, he’s really, really sick. Hey had to perform CPR on him last night. They told his mom that his heart is giving up. She was six hours away at the time. She’s on her way to the hospital. They’re calling the boys dad. It really doesn’t look good. He’s always been a miracle boy, but how long can his little body fight?? Please, pray for Brayton if you read this. It is so heartbreaking.
Anyway, I need to go cook dinner. Until later.

I seriously don’t think my heart can handle a third baby passing away this week.

RYN: Yeah it wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be, still a bit heartbreaking, but such it being a parent, right?
