Never ever did I think that I would say I could relate to Eminem.

YouTube decided I was in a place to feel my anger, my hurt, my betrayal. It teased me with Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie”. I was taken a back, I replayed the song only the lyrical version. As the lyrics scrolled across the screen the chorus:

Just gonna stand there and watch me burn?
Well, that’s alright because I like the way it hurts

I love the way you lie

continued to replay in my mind over and over again.  I couldn’t help but think about the times I looked directly at you and said “If I find out you are still cheating it will break me. I will not be able to recover” and you looked back at me and said your empty promises. You promised you weren’t and that you wouldn’t hurt me. The entire time you were watching me burn. Watching me fall apart. I took the bait. I allowed myself to be hurt and broken. But as its said;
