NoJoMo 1
Well, this is the start of my attempt to write something in here every day. Doing well so far. Remembered today was November 1st.
This weekend I rented a car to get some more driving experience. I passed my test last year but never bought a car. I took a crash course and passed first time, which meant I had driven a car for about 20 hours in total. Care hire places always require you to have had a driving license for a year before you rent from them, so it’s only now that I’ve had the oppurtunity to check if I can actually still drive.
To be honest, I was completely terrified. I spent last week convinced I was going to get into some horrible accident because I forgot which one was the brake and I was going to die a horrible painful death.
But here I am! Alive and well. I returned the car without so much as a scratch on it. There were a couple of times I almost crashed horribly but they were all my stupid fault. I’m not so great at changing lanes on the motorway. One time I saw a huge truck swerving into my lane about to clip the front of my car, so I swerved into the fast lane, only to realise there had been a land rover in that lane and I was hurtling towards him, so I just frantically swerved back towards the lorry and kept on going.
The only other time was when I was going into a slow lane and almost crashed into another car I just didn’t see. Lesson is: LOOK FOR OTHER CARS. But I spent a lot of time on the motorway and was fine with changing lanes after a little practice.
Phew. Not dead. And I’m actually alright at driving now.
Bye Y’all!
awww look at you, all growed up and driving. ROFL. I’m impressed you wrote at all. 🙂 Keep it up, girlie.

Yeah, ok, checking for the other cars is safer and all that but who has the time or patience?
