Ozzing

I’m in Oz.

[AAAAaaaaaahzzzzz’s]

How wonderful to hold B again. To caress her naked body over and over. To plant my kisses all about her. To listen to her gasp and pant so responsively to each… but I digress.

This is my third excursion to Oz. You would think customs would trust me by now, but this time I got x-rayed and the contents of my suitcase was all stirred up during my absence. Thanks, assholes. Overall, the trip this time did not include any hour-consuming lines, or sprints to reach a gate before take off. The airlines are still putting tiny women in front of me who think it is their right to recline their seat into my knees for the entire flight. Should I blame my swollen ankles on them?

But all that is behind me, now. The temperature was over 90 today and the sun didn’t set until 8:30. How does one put a price on that?

B’s life is in a state of flux, but aren’t all lives always like that? Her son-in-law has taken the position of manager on a sheep station much further in the outback, and the family will complete the move there in a month or two. I plan to help. I’m grateful for this opportunity. The sheep station is over 780 square miles in size, has a gold mine on it, and is far from the insanity of urban life. MMMmmmmmm… I bought a metal detector. Some things are worth saving for.

I will be taking pictures. Duh….

My stay in Phoenix flew by, too. I’m actually closer to BFF’s family than my own. My Saturn will be waiting for me when I return, a virtual eternity. Life just keeps getting better.

I’m writing this in the middle of the night. Jetlag. But I think I’m ready to slip back into bed with B.  It’s five in the morning.  It’s starting to get light outside and the birds are starting to sing with their Aussie accents.

Hugzzzzzz!!!!

Good to know you arrived safely. All be it into the hottest weather we’ve had so far this year. They tell me it was 39C here yesterday, but officially it made 35.

Now that’s one way of getting away from the snow, which it’s doing right here, right now. Ick! Have a great time down under there. 🙂
