What Friends Do!

What Friends Do.

Hey Guys!

Been a while now huh, and I guess the question is “why are you back here”? Well, there HAS been a great deal that has happened in my life, and I DID meet up with two of you over the last weekend, and I guess it was the later more than anything else that has changed my mind.

Just as bad things change our lives and our perception on things, so to do the good things in our lives. I’ve learned one very valuable lesson in life, and that is that “friends” come and go, but real friends seem to have this hold on me for eternity. I have thought about all you guys, a lot over the last few months, and I have to be honest, I even miss the ones I had falling outs with.

We can’t change who we are, god knows I am one of the least perfect people in this world, but I do have guilt, and I do know what the feeling of loss means. I recall all the notes and comments I used to receive from you guys, about nothing more than the fact of life. To think that a network of people can be so important in our lives and in our growth, even on a small scale. As much as it would be wonderful to meet all of you, understanding and “accepting” the fact that we can’t, makes the friendships even stronger. I guess that was something I needed to learn for myself.

The fact is, I love to write, and I love the fact that something I do write might be somewhat interesting enough for another to read, let alone comment on. I did start another open diary page, but I used it solely for the purpose of extracting the html codes when I wrote, so I could copy and paste it to myspace. Ever heard the expression “MySpace Whore”, well that was me, and I guess still am to an extent. Where Open Diary is more intimate, MySpace is an open slather, in your face, open to the world rat race. Many of the people you add there are passers by, not so interested in your continued writing, but more that one blog you wrote, reached them in some way. What I have grown to miss is the continued “interest’ that my friends on Open Diary displayed.

I don’t even know if you guys still have me on a list, so I am just going to have to post this entry, and then one by one, go and say hello again. If I’m lucky, some of you might still want to be friends, and for what it’s worth, I hope you all do! I’ve missed writing on here, and I’ve missed all the quirky traits that you all display. So, it’s time that this bloke got down to business and made good on a new start huh!

thanks heaps for you not Luke was great

RYN: It seems so scary, especially now that it is hitting the news…why weren’t we informed of this problem before? They say hospitals have it, but that also locker rooms in school facilities are basically a breeding ground for it. SCARY! ♥

Welcome back! 🙂 ♥
