Spring Break…

From about 9 this morning I was officially on Spring Break. 8 o’clock on the 22nd is the next time I have to go into class. That makes me happy. Vicki and I are having a good time together. Can’t wait till the spring ball. Sadies is on Friday and that’s going to be a blast. I have a job interview today at 6:15 for a receptionist type person at Arthur Murray and I just spent like $138 on clothes for the interview alone. And when I say I spent, I mean mom spent. Hopefully I’ll get this job and be able to pay her back. Actually, I think my tax refund should be more than enough to pay her back for everything. Right now I think my tab is upwards around $258. :::sigh::: Money is always going to be a problem for me. Never going to have enough of it and when I do I will always want to spend it, either on myself or others. But that’s the way this wretched world turns.

On a school note, my acting teacher is a bastard. Well actually he’s a pretty nice guy. But he’s destroying a brilliant peice of work, and a classic. We’re doing a Midsummer Night’s Dream and he cut out all of the mechanicals except for Bottom. ^^WTF^^ mate?! There are like 2 or 3 scenes that are gone, but we don’t have the characters to do them. And most of the speeches have been cut too, and, worst of all, he rewrote some lines to make sense. Plus he’s teaching it wrong. He’s basing the entire language and structure of the show on the iambic pentameter. It is a very important part of the language, but the play isn’t based on it. BLARGH!!!! I almost threw up because of everyting he did to that show. :::Projectile Vomit::: I feel better now.
