Brand Spanking New…

The subject of this entry is about beliefs. Not like I’ve talked before on beliefs. But beliefs nonetheless. I think I’ve figured out the meaning of life.It is not to be happy, or successful, or even remotely liked. The meaning of life is to have others share in your beliefs. To convince others that what you belive in is right. Not to force others, but to convince. To provide them with enough proof of how sound your mind is compared to someone else’s that the smartest thing they can do is to be “AHA! You’re right. I should think on this and believe it too.” Granted it won’t happen that fast, but the general idea is there. And I’m not saying that everyone is right in their beliefs or that everyone should believe what everyone else believes. I believe in one thing. If I can convince one other person that what i believe is right, then I’ve fulfilled the meaning of life. Hitler also fulfilled the meaning of life. He believed in one thing and he “convinced” a nation to believe it too. But he screwed up. You can go only so far before someone says your beliefs are wrong and puts forth their own beliefs. I guess I learned all of this through a moment of Enlightenment. Intuition. The creative processess of my mind, for that second were in tune with Nature and the Universe. And granted, theses are my beliefs. My job now is to convince someone that I’m right.

Little moments of Enlightenment are some of the greatest moments one can experience.

Continuing on what i was talking about. I used Hitler as an example. In no way am I excusing the actions of Adolf Hitler and the German Nazi Party. I think it was atrocious and it was one of the biggest tragedies in human history. What I am sayingis that he had a belief. He convinced others that he was right. And they acted on that belief. He fulfilled his meaning of life. Doesn’t mean he was right, because so many know and believe he was wrong, but his meaning was fulfilled. And I guess that’s what matters. Just to believe something and hope that someone else will believe it too. After that, well, that’s on you. If you believe something to the point where you act, well I admire you for your conviction. If you act on your belief and cause another Holocaust, or hurt others because of your beliefs, well then there is going to be a problem. I guess you have to know when things go to far. So I guess that even though the meaning of life is to have others share in your beliefs, the meaning of life is also singularly unique for all people. And they must find it on their own. But in the end, this is all something that I believe.
