Updates—a picture of Jacob! another pic!

Alrighty guys, this is Katie (+katie+), and I will be keeping you guys updated as soon as I find anything out!

You know if you read the last entry. Mindy went in this morning at 5am to be induced after having contractions 4 minutes apart on Friday and finding out she was 2 cm.

Pray pray pray that her delivery goes wonderfully and baby and mama are healthy 🙂

9:15am (central standard time)/7:15 am (pacific time): Mindy just messaged me and said "So far-so good! Not too uncomfortable yet." and "I am on the pitocin so I am having contractions but they aren’t horrible yet"

12:30pm (Central standard time/10:30am (pacific time): New message: "They are going to be breaking my water and giving me the epidural within the next 45 minutes" and "I am at 3 (cm) now–the nurse said she hopes the baby is here by 2:00 :-)"

More updates to come when I get ’em!

3:24 pm (cst)/1:24pm (pacific): Mindy’s water broke on its own and she is 5 cm dialated. She also so she’s loooving her epidural, haha!

8:39pm (cst)/6:39pm (pacific): I’ve texted mindy to see how things are progressing. That was about an hour and a half ago and I haven’t gotten a response so I hope that means she’s too busy to reply!! I will let you know asap when I get a response!

10:30pm(cst)/8:30pm(pacific): jacob is here!! Waiting on birth time, weight and length details!

Born at 8:25pm, weighing in at 7 pounds 15 ounces and 20.5 inches long!
