Opinions Please

It is one am in the morning and here I am wide awake. I couldn’t get to sleep due to worrying. Let me explain why. First of all I got a kitty and I was happy as a lark. But then the kitty got ring worms and so did I. The vet said there’s not really much you can do about it except dip her in beach water. Well I also need to explain that I was taking a chance having the kitten since I hadn’t paid the deposit yet. So my good friend Wanda said she would keep her until I could save enough for the deposit which is $75. Well then  last night a lady posted an ad on FB saying she had the 2 free puppies. She told me that the one I got had a hurt foot and has a little limp. I thought that would be ok. She is such a sweet little girl. Anyway I took her to the vet today and the left front page is injured beyond repair. He said she had no nerve endings in her foot anymore:( He said I could either take the puppy back or just deal with the bad for knowing that eventually she might have to have the leg removed. 🙁 I’m not as attached to her yet as much as I was to the kitty. Well tonight the fleas are still driving her batty. The vet out that stuff on her neck for fleas so why isn’t it working. He also have her the puppy shots and heart work meds. She weighs 4.5 lbs and she is 3 months old. Poor thing can hardly walk to potty or go to get food dish. What is bothering me is trying to figure out if I should keep her. . Take her back. . Or perhaps trade with Wanda and very the kitty back. I did go write a check for the deposit. That also means I can’t pay the deposit to get the internet now so that will have to keep waiting. So if you were in my place. . What would you do ??

Thanks

depends on how you feel about each animal and if you can afford the future medical issues. if it were me, i’d back right out of both before i got attached to either. take care,

I’d be upset…breeders are not supposed to sell injured animals.

Oh man, that’s a tough one. Those flea products do not work in my opinion. Hot areas get fleas worse than the cooler climates. But!!! Wet the dog, lather her up with Dawn dishwashin liquid. Leave it on her for at least five minutes before you rinse it off. It does work and is a whole lot cheaper than flea products and not a pesticide. HUGS!!!

I think I would take them both back. But that’s just me. Just do what you think is right.

Phone your local animal rescue group (NOT the SPCA) and admitted you have gotten in over your head and need help. You can find out the names of the local groups at your library. They can sometimes help with costs rather than see a pet lose a loving home.
