work and such….

Has anyone else noticed that all I’ve been talking about lately is work?

I have…

*sigh*

It’s all I’ve been doing though….

So yesterday, I opened at 6:30. Yeah, it sucked, but I made it through somehow. It was also the slowest day we’ve had in about a week.

Anyway, at about nine Sara came in and asked if I was going to be at Bethany’s (surprise) party… *half asleep* "Um… I get off at 2:30…"

Sara told me I had to go. So I decided to stay at work until 4:30 when the party started. I’m still wearing my baby blue shirt with the lake of Isles logo and my name tag… (Dressed for the occasion… -_-") I did remember to take my hair down before she came though.

Bethany was supposed to come through the front with Chris. However he thought he was supposed to bring her through the kitchen. Since we had a walky, we were able to tell him otherwise, but then we found out that it was Archie, who was bringing her up.

We were all going back and forth in the room to get on the perfect side to surprise Bethany. (She came through the right door)

When she walked in it was utter surprise. If you saw her face you’d be laughing with me. She stood there for a minute before throwing her "meeting" (to get her to come in on her day off, Oh yeah, everyone was in on it.) stuff on a table and making the candle go out, as she said that it wasn’t funny. (Like it took her a minute to figure out there was no meeting)

Sandi was ready with a drink for her. Bethany really loved it. Her shocked look was the greatest. But the three dollar mixed drinks was even better! (Usually its like 6 or 7)

There are some new girls that are working now. Vanessa (who’s seasonal), I think I’ve already said something about Renee….

I can’t remember the other seasonal girl’s name. *sigh* I’ve been trying to remember like 25 new names in the matter of weeks.

I remember our, finally, hired breakfast cook’s name. (Alicia…whether or not I spelled it right)

I guess she got the job by cracking an egg in one hand, and making the perfect over easy egg. (On her first try)

How funny. She’s a bigger girl, but she’s really pretty. She seems really nervous, but she also seems like she’ll warm up pretty quick.

Today sucked balls. Not only did we have a tournament, but there were a total of eight groups on the course for the day. (Until the tournament) The tournament was covered from when they came in to when they left… and that always sucks! (This time the cart girls were screwed as well, he he)

 

Yeah… during the morning (when no one came!) I doodled on the back of the pretty much useless tee sheet. Megan was laughing about it. She’s like, “I love the "nothing" written on the blank page. lol. I was just trying to keep myself from falling asleep. It’s not like we keep the sheets anyway… so why not, you know.

^-^" Angelo was like what’s all this? I asked him if he would’ve rather me sleep through the morning… lol

Tomorrow’s my day off! So I’m drinking. I got some Sparks from EZ (the packy)! wOOt!

I got two, four packs. That should keep me entertained… lol.

I hope that I can just stay all hyper and crazy for the next day so I can clean and wash the sheets.

Yup. Hopefully I’ll have enough energy to walk the dogs too. (probably not though…)
