Kill the Giant Turtle!
Surprising entry title for someone who loves turtles! lol.
The title is because I used to get giant turtle stuffed animals from my parents all the time. I ran out to places to put my loving turtles (since I have about 5 huge ones) so I gave this one particular turtle to my puppy. Sometimes she uses it as her bed other times, like right now for instance she loves to try and kill it. Which is pretty amusing because its nearly twice the size of her. Also there is a hole in it and she loves to tear fluff out of things. lol
For some reason I can’t put pictures up. My computer some how doesn’t read my camera and I know everything is hooked up right.
It annoys me because then i could show everyone my turtle tattoos and my Charlie (I’m getting a tattoo on my left shoulder and it will eventually be both of my kittens because I lost them both within a week. Right now it’s just Charlie.
I know I’m planning on getting more cats.. It’s just I really loved My kittens. The personalities of these cats have touched my heart. And their passing seemed so sudden, and it seemed I had no support left. Jeff was there and things between us were rough then. But every time I needed someone my kittens were there for me to hold and snuggle like no other human was allowed. (Neko was especially particular about who he let hold him even for a sort while.) This tattoo is my tribute to them. And even though it’s going to hurt like a bitch… I have to get it done.
Some people I know think I’m silly for getting a tattoo of an animal if I plan on getting more.
They argue, ‘But are you going to love all your other cats equally? Then you’d have to get a tattoo of them all.’ I disagree. I love all animals equally. I do not think every animal I’ve had deserves a tattoo. My cats did. They weren’t even a year old.
Wow…. I was just thinking back to my old journal… and I am a lot more serious and mature. (with my journal entries at least)
What started off as a funny journal quickly because sad. And now time for a random topic change:
I helped out Jeff the other day at work. I made a hundred bucks doing it too. Jim, Jeff’s boss, is remodeling his house. He needed help getting the top floor all squared away. So he had Jeff and Kenny (Jeff’s co-worker and friend) bring in reinforcements. Our job was to get rid of the mess on the floor, rip out all the insulation, and trow it all out the window. Basicly, we needed a clean room and just the skeleton. All over the floor was dust, and insulation , and whatever it was (I think it was newspaper insulation). Piles of it in the room reached my knees. All the dust and stuff went into barrels that we brought down the stairs, outside, and into the dumpster which was pretty much full.
Soon it became too full and we had to wait for the dumpster guy to come. He didn’t come for a while. We then got to work on all the insulation and ripped it all out and threw it out the window. (that pile almost reached our second story window and I had to even it out a few times.) Then we swept a huge pile into the middle of the room while Kenny and Jeff tore the room into a skeleton. We threw the wood out the window. We had the whole room pretty much done before the dumpster guy came and took our load. Oh yeah, did I mention it was cold and raining? Yeah, it was raining. After we had the room entirely cleaned out we went downstairs and took that huge ass pile we made out the window, and threw it all in the dumpster. This was the worse part of the whole day because it was cold, raining, and everything was wet. All the insulation, all the wood. Everything. By the way, insulation is very nasty when its wet. finally everything was done. We went out to lunch and enjoyed some pizza and soda before going back for one final clean-up. It was pretty enjoyable.
I guess that’s it for today. I’ll write again soon.
