*********
Chelsea was still curious a few days after the incident. Not much contact was made between the two since then. This was starting to bug Chelsea. He had definitely started something back there.
Finding Blake was not hard. He was either in his quarters or he was at the ship site, doing last minuet work. He rarely went anywhere else.
Chelsea’s first guess was going to his room. She had decided to change after work and it took her a while to fit into her children’s jean skirt. The shirt was pink and stopped just below her chest. This was sure to get a reaction. Her curly, copper hair was down and wrapping around her neck.
Chelsea stood outside the door for a moment and tried to contain herself.
As Chelsea reached up for the button, the door swooshed open and Blake nearly ran right into her. Chelsea moved out of the way and  Blake was just able to catch himself before taking a plunge into the carpet.
"Hey there. Did you need something?"
Blake seemed hurried, and not much for talking but Chelsea pushed him backwards into his quarters instead.
Putting a pout on her face and standing only about an inch away Chelsea said, "Blake, we really need to talk."
Blake had just now realized how Chelsea was dressed and wondered exactly what she really wanted.
Blake sighed before nodding his head. He knew there was no way to get around this.
"I was just wondering about how Sam was talking about killings, and that there won’t be any of something left. And I was wondering if you could maybe explain some of it for me?"
Blake looked to the ground. He really couldn’t tell her if he wanted. But he needed to shut her up non the less.
"Well, There are some poachers killing off a rare lesser species. They’re dying off quickly, and it’s bad."
Chelsea wasn’t sure if she believed it but she let Blake believe that she did. Blake looked at the time and realized he needed to be elsewhere.
"Hey Chelsea, I’ve gotta go. Sam wants me to meet him."
Chelsea nodded, while adding a hint of a smile. Blake gave her a soft smile before he teleported himself. Chelsea grabbed onto Blake’s black shirt just as the beam surrounded him. Chelsea saw Blake’s eyes grow wide just as they were lifted into the stream.
When they reached their destination, Chelsea couldn’t help but look around and try to find out where she was.
The whole place was trashed. Bags and boxes lay all around the room. Along all the walls were pictures and schematics. Most of the pictures were of Chelsea. Before she could get a good look, Blake was grabbing her shoulders and shaking her rapidly.
"How could you?! You can’t be here. My job is ruined." When he said that he sat down hard on a cluttered couch.
"Chelsea…. We need to leave… now!"
And with that Blake stood up quickly and grabbed Chelsea’s arm. Before Blake could do anything more Sam was standing in the doorway.
"YOU BROUGHT HER HERE?!"
His yell was enough for Blake to drop Chelsea and turn to his friend.
"It’s not what you think. Chelsea, …she clung to me."
Sam’s rage did not subside.
"It’s your job to make sure you don’t go beaming your self here when you have people like her around!"
Chelsea wasn’t sure how she made it into the conversation but she was more upset that she was somehow being out-casted. Blake turned to her in the moment Sam had said the remark, but it didn’t seem to change the content.
"Listen Sam. I may be just some joke to you, but you have pictures of me on all of your walls. How did you even get some of these pictures?"
And with that being said, Sam’s eyes grew large and he was down the hall way into another room. After Sam had fled Blake turned again to Chelsea, instinctively reaching his hand out to stop her.
"You should probably go now. He’s already upset and I think you just pushed him over the edge."
Chelsea crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"I don’t think so. Now that I’ve been here once, I can just keep coming back. You might as well show me whatever you’ve been trying so hard to hide."
Blake came close to Chelsea and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"I know I can’t stop you from finding out now. It was my fault for involving you to begin with. But please don’t repeat anything you see outside of here."
Chelsea could see in his green eyes that he was asking her a favor more than anything. She nodded in agreement and followed Blake into the room.
In the room there were computer screens filling up all of the walls. Most of the screens were shut off.  There was one table in the room, piled high with PADDS and other mechanical devises. Sam turned to see the both of them and grumbled under his breath.
"Blake did you find out what you needed?"
As Sam turned to face a screen with different numbers and codes, Blake nodded.
"Yes, I found out, that like you suggested, it was a female, probably in her early twenties. Hair color is real. DNA is still trying to find a match. I thought it would be quicker in the…."
Sam turned sharply towards Blake and nodded fiercely.
"What are the odds it’ll be faster here?"
Blake looked towards the screen and shook his head.
"We might as well re-create. It would be quicker. There is just too much DNA to get our match."<br />As the two guys talked back and forth about nothing that made sense to Chelsea, she took a moment to look at the different screens that were turned on. From what  she could see, each screen had a different man covered in blood and laying on the ground. Chelsea thought that some of them looked familiar to her. There was a close up of one of the men. His face was bloody, but his eyes remained blue. It looked like a much older Admiral Paris.
"Is that really Admiral Paris?"
Chelsea didn’t really want to voice her question but it seemed to jump right out of her mouth.
Both Sam and Blake looked at each other. They didn’t seem to have an answer for her.
"It looks a lot like him, you know." Chelsea then pointed out all the features. Sam got up and gently grabbed Chelsea’s pointing hand. She turned to look into his angry face.
"Yes, it is. However, you are not allowed, or supposed to know about any of this. Please keep this to yourself." Sam had let go of Chelsea’s hand and left her standing, stunned. Blake was now Sam’s new target.
"You need to get her out of here before she finds out too much."
Blake nodded and led Chelsea into the room they had started out in.
"Listen, I’m sorry. You need to understand that you shouldn’t know how to get here. If the wrong person finds you, you could be in a lot of trouble." When he was finished speaking, he grabbed her hand tightly and beamed them to Chelsea’s quarters.
When they were there, Blake watched Chelsea sit down and make herself comfortable. He knew it wasn’t in his best interest but he sat down anyway. Blake watched her examine the PADD she had just picked up.
"You know. I really like you Chelsea Walker. In a few weeks you will be leaving my ship and flying around on your ship."
Saying this made Chelsea place the PADD in her lap. She was looking at him now, her amethyst eyes locked in place.
"Do you really care? Won’t I be out of your way then?"
Her cruel words didn’t sound as rude as she seemed to have meant them.
"I’ve never once thought you were in the way. In fact, I was surprised, at first, of how much help you were. Listen, I just don’t want this to ruin our friend ship."
Chelsea smiled and it made Blake feel more relieved than anything she could have said to him.
"Blake you should probably go back before Sam has another fit."
She was smiling at him but he knew she still wanted to know more.
*************
The next few weeks went by fast. All the last minuet tests and scans were the easiest part of building the whole ship. That wasn’t to say the de-bugging and searching for and random abnormalities was easy.
However, with all of the building out of the way, there was no problem in running programs designed to simply find any mistakes in programing or in the actual ship’s frame.
Aft all that, Chelsea was now standing in her new ship.
She stood in the middle of the bridge and noticed how empty it was with no one standing at the consoles. The quiet was brilliant and it calmed every fiber in Chelsea’s core.
She didn’t stand there for too much longer. She made sure she looked at every room and every duct before she would be happy. She wanted to make sure nothing was over looked.
Chelsea soon found herself outside of the holodeck doors. She looked at the nice design Blake had crafted for her. It was truly a piece of art. The word holodeck, was inscribed on it’s center, and what almost looked like vines, ran out from the center and all throughout the doors themselves.
I’m not sure anyone will get confused as to where the holodeck is, the amused Chelsea thought.
When Chelsea walked in the holodeck she saw Blake standing at the small wall console, pressing a few buttons and reading from a PADD. Chelsea walked right up behind him and noticed that he smelled awfully nice. Poking his shoulder lightly seemed to startle Blake, making him jump.
"Hey Blake. Making a few modifications?"
When Chelsea asked him she looked over his shoulder trying to read the console. Sadly Blake was a few inches taller and without moving, he blocked her view.
"Yeah. I was told by an HQ informant that a few of the new holodeck systems have been acting funny. I thought I would test yours before you left port."
Blake came inches from Chelsea and looked at her for a moment. Before Chelsea could say anything Blake reached out and grabbed her into a hug. Chelsea was tense only for a second before embracing him in the same fashion.
"I’m really gonna miss having you around Chelsea."
At that moment Blake saw Chelsea’s head lift up to look into his eyes. Her amethyst eyes began to sparkle with tears. She wore a smile but Blake couldn’t let her go just yet.
"Damn, you’re making me all emotional. You know I’ll miss you too."
Blake laughed for a moment but he still couldn’t help but want to keep her for a while. As their eyes locked Blake lost all of his control.
He placed his hand along her face and pulled her easily in for a kiss.
Chelsea had no responses left to stop Blake from controlling her. Chelsea also wasn’t sure if she even wanted him to stop.
The kiss was soft and it made both of them tingle.
The PADD in Blake’s hand fell. Soon they were up against the wall for leverage, unable to keep their hands from wandering over each other’s body.
Suddenly Blake stopped to look at Chelsea, one hand still placed firmly on her cheek. She was beautiful. Copper strands had fallen into her face, making her that much more elegant.
"Blake?"
When Chelsea said his name he remembered that he was supposed to be meeting up with Sam pretty soon.
Smiling at Chelsea, Blake mustered up all of strength before saying anything.
"Chelsea, unfortunately I need to leave at the moment." He paused, watching her reaction. Her face wrinkled and she stepped backwards from him.
"More business. I know it seems insensitive, but I hadn’t planned…"
Blake wasn’t sure if the words were fitting like he wanted them so he stopped and hoped Chelsea wouldn’t get the wrong idea.
"I understand. Deadlines can be such a bitch."
Chelsea gave him a half smile, noticably disappointed. Blake smiled at her all the same, hoping to make her feel better. Blake walked to Chelsea and hugged her tightly before walking through the holodeck doors.
When he was gone Chelsea picked up his PADD. Sighing, she decided she would get some rest before meeting up with her crew.

RYN: No I’m not pregnant. I almost think that would be a HELL of a lot better than what might be my problem.
