There was a blood drive at school today

Hi everyone? How was your day? In 1st hour, we played our songs for Graduation. I went to give blood during 2nd hour. It was all right. This was my 2nd time giving. First, you have to read this thing on the conditions where you cannot give blood for a certain amount of time. Then, you go to fill out a form and give the volunteer(or whoever) your social security number, and a form of ID (I had my blood donor card). Then, you go in to get a mini physical from the nurses. They check your iron, your temperature and blood pressure. When they check your iron, they poke your finger and put it in this little thingie. If the thingie floats, you cant give blood. If it sinks, you can. Mine sank. Then, if you’re all right, you go to the place and give blood. You lie down and they put iodine on the place where they are going to draw your blood. When the put the needle in, it doesn’t hurt…just a pinch. When you’re done, you sit for a while to keep from fainting. I heard that one girl fainted. Afterwards, you get juice and cookies(yum!). I got Apple juice. I got a sticker that says “be nice to me! I gave blood today”. I sat there till after 3rd hour started. My choir teacher let me in late. In 3rd hour, we watched the Temptations movie. At lunch, I chilled and went to the school store. In 4th hour, I went to security to write another statement about my trumpet (they said they didn’t receive my 1st one). In 5th hour, we did work. In 6th hour, we did a worksheet. Now I am at home. I’m not very hungry, just sleepy and weak. Well, I’ll have a little something and go to sleep. More later!
