Memories

Right now, I’m thinking about Tech rehearsals for my dance recital….I remember when I had rehearsals for act 1, Me and my friend Teresa were foolin. We danced together for Jazz (the combined dance with Pre Jazz, Jazz 2 and Jazz 3-4). She was in Jazz 2 and I’m in Jazz 3-4. After our dance, we chilled and watched the dances. We were dance critics. When we saw the dance to the wedding song, we were saying how we love weddings. We watched Male tap, and we were saying how good they were. Teresa then went with her Ballet class and i chilled and critiqued. Wednesday was Tech rehearsals for Tap. Me and Teresa were in tap together. She also had a modern class in the 2nd act. We chilled and critiqued some more. For tap, we did well, Teresa had Ellen and Jessica as an audience. I was saying “Teresa, you have an audience”, and she said,”oh…whaddya want!!” Jessica was saying , ” are you crazy” and she was like ” No!! anyway…what were you saying?” Thursday, we were in our dressing rooms. Friday, I saw April and Alicia at the beauty salon when I was getting my hair done for the concert. My dance school and another dance school had recitals that saturday. Saturday, I had extra rehearsals for Jazz and Tap . When I was on stage with my Jazz class, The light crew was working on the lights. I also had rehearsals for Tap. Tyesha had to come right from Pre-pro to Tap rehearsals. after call time, we had final instructions and gems of advice. We then went to our dressing rooms. Everyone used my glitter in Jazz . after Jazz , I changed into my Tap costume. I then went to get my glitter out my jazz class’ dressing room. I then put on my tap shoes and practiced. then got some water. When my tap class was on the stairs going to the stage, we all got a hug and a good luck from my Tap teacher. At the finale, the executive director told us to move back. more memories later!
