I have a predicament

I have a predicament, ya’ll. My friend is having her graduation party tomorrow, and my dad’s cousin’s getting married tomorrow. I told dad, and he said I can do whatever I want, and Mom said I have to go to my dad’s cousin’s wedding. I am easily bored at weddings, and really bored at receptions. Me and my friend have been friends since before we started school. My mom is making me to go to the wedding because it’s family, and I want to go to my friend’s party because I don’t want to get bored. Mom’s making me do something I really don’t want to do. HELP!!
