Erbil: An explosive situation

Back in the land of the stinky people.  I’m in Amman Jordan about to head for the airport and fly to Erbil, Arbil, Irbil…however they choose to spell it on a given day.  I read in the news that an Iranian outfit was taken down today in Erbil by coalition forces.  We knew there were there for sometime, I’m just suprised that it took the military so long to finally remove them.  Should be interesting.

If I had three wishes, I would waste one on the lottery.  For the other two, I would wish that the people from this region would learn appreciation for showers and deoderant.  I am always appauled whenever I travel through this region and smell these people.  It’s absolutely revolting.  My waiter in the restaurant certainly was a stinky bastard.   ‘Exuse me…can I have some BO with my Kabaab?’

It’s extremely cold here.  The temp was +1c when I arrived.  Josh sent me an email a bit ago and warned me that the temps in Erbil are extremely cold as well.  Good thing I purchased cold weather clothing in Beijing and didn’t throw them out.

Ew. I don’t envy you being amidst smellyness. (is smellyness even a word? Well, it is now…)
