Cares
Cares come’
Cares go….
So why care?
I remember reading this in the yearbook of my mother when I was a child. This has followed me through life. We should always care. Always. I was inspired to write this after reading the entry of another. We should always care. Always. We should never stop caring. Never.
I completely agree. When we stop caring, I believe we lose some of our humanity.

Caring is something I don’t think we can avoid, despite what people say. I don’t think worrying about the minor things really counts. (That whole “Will this matter in a year? Five years? Ten years?” that my mother told me repeatedly to think about when getting upset.) However, caring about the larger issues is a necessity. When one stops caring, one essentially stops living. You can’t live in a world, interact with it, view it, gain experience from it and -not- care about it.
