Run, run, as fast as you can

I started going back to the gym this morning, jogging again.  Mrs. Mic and I are doing (kinda anyway) the C25K running plan.  Life keeps side tracking us from doing 9 weeks straight (we’ve been at this since early September) but we’re trying, and I guess that’s what’s important.  Oh man, it was hard to get up this morning.

Sunday Tigger, Dory and I went to a bridal show at the Turf Club.  I’ve never been to one before, and despite the weather being a little sketchy, it was a fun day!  We met for lunch first (Friendly’s had stopped serving breakfast by the time we all managed to get our tuckuses in gear) and then drove over.   I had no idea this show was such a big deal, I just happened to see the ad for it in a magazine.  The place was *packed*!  Even in the sketchy weather!  That made it more fun though, and we entered me in just about every drawing they had.  Most of the vendors had some kind of thing they were holding a drawing for, and one of the dress shops was doing coupons if you booked an appointment that day.  I’m not ready to buy a dress yet, but there’s no harm in looking so I made an appointment.

Did I show you guys the dress I found that I love but is in England and nearly $3,000?  It’s the Semine dress at Rivendell Bridal.  As it’s so far away, there’s no point in even ordering it as I can’t try it on first, and I don’t know whether that style will be conducive to my chest!

Dread Pirate and I have a ‘race’ going on to see who can hit their 6 week weight goal by Valentine’s Day.  I’m determined to win, and as I work out a lot more than he does, I feel like I’ve got a fighting chance!  We’re going to put some stakes on this race, but we haven’t decided yet on the terms.  Suggestions?  (Please put suggestions in private notes, thanks :p )
