JuPhoMo, Day 12, Rolled
Today was an interesting day but we got much accomplished. It actually started out kinda late because we left the house around 1:15 and headed over to this place on Miracle Mile. Randy had a $20 gift Certificate in his email for the Breakfast Club & Cafe so we went there for Lunch. We’d seen it since they were barely gonna open and had been saying we needed to stop in.
So finally we went there and omg the food is amazing. We both got these half lb bacon cheeseburgers which are like $8. so delicious. but it was kind of dumb because when it came time to figure out the bill it was like oh no, just the birthday meal is free. so we would have ended up paying for my meal. which it actually doesn’t specify in the email thing. ugh seriously? But the owner lady came over and was really nice and was like you know we’ve had a lot of problems with this whole thing and we’re paying KFMA a lot of money to send these out. there’s no way ONE person can come in here and spend $20 on themselves with our prices. So she ended up comping our meal anyway, so it was very nice of her to do that. but yeah we will deffo be back there because their prices are VERY reasonable and their food was good. hell yeah!
So that was awesome. we then went all the way across town so Randy could do his truck payment, then came back across town, put gas and went to Best Buy, Wal-Mart and whatever office supply store is right there. Then into Cost Cutters and Randy finally bought his Shampoo that he’s been looking for. He buys the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree stuff and it’s in the huge 1 liter bottles and that stuff lasts him forever, so yay he has shampoo now. And I get relegated to using his shampoo since I obviously don’t care what kind of shampoo I use. meh. at least I don’t have to spend money on shampoo. blah. i think I have some random ass conditioner laying around somewhere too. that’s probably why my hair looks like crap and doesn’t do anything for me too. lol. oh well.
anyway, so then we went to the mall after that. walked around for a little bit and did that whole thing. that’s always fun. i started getting the headache bug before we got there and I was like if we go home I’m just gonna crash so lets go do something lol. then while we were there we passed the Cinnabon place and started craving cinnamon rolls. so we looked up a cinnamon roll recipe and that’s why there’s a picture of a cinnamon roll up there, because I made cinnamon rolls. YUM! Way better than Cinnabon and less expensive!
We did have to go to Safeway and buy buttermilk and a few other things but it was worth it for sure. We also rented Snow White and The Huntsman which Randy had seen but I had not, so we watched that as well. yup yup. anyway, so that was that. I suppose that is about alll I gotta say for now. you all have a good one 🙂
