Walking in the dark is for the lemurs…

Seriously. Big-eyed freaks.

I went for a walk tonight, but it was 100% overcast, so it wasn’t the smoothest of walks considering I was on the dirt and gravel road that leads to my house. I’ve decided that from now on I’ll only be walking after work between the moon’s first and last quarters AND when the sky is clear. It’s safer.

I’m seriously considering buying a Withings Scale. It’s totally cool and talks (through your home’s WiFi network) to both RunKeeper AND Google Health which I just signed up for. The Withings account also lets me share information with my doctor and anyone else I choose to. Sweet. As an aside, if you’re a foursquare user they’ve recently entered a partnership with RunKeeper that’s pretty nifty too.

So anyway, I got in just over half a mile tonight. It was refreshing.

I somehow managed to gain weight on my vacation, even with all the running around I did, so I’ve been a bit uncomfortable at work since I refuse to buy new clothes to accommodate weight I am going to have off shortly. That’s a bit of a bummer of a goal: loose down to my pre-vacation weight. Oh well, it’s just the first step after all.

Watching The Glades on the TiVo before I go to bed. I think that’s all I have for now.

‘Night!
