Update Thingy

Well, I’ve been so busy with Ember and work I haven’t been able to update. Ember’s doing good now. She said she was good the first two days, but I think she was fibbing a little bit.

Work is sucking more than just a little bit, but I guess I’m going to have to just deal with it for the next ten days. I have to work Tuesday morning at midnight, so basically my Christmas day off will be spent sleeping.

Yesterday I ended up spending an extra two hours doing someone else’s job, and didn’t get a single thank-you for it, just an “I’ll get someone else to finish it” when I said I had a problem with the last bit. Today I was trying to clear some of the misplaced freight out of the extra warehouse. I pulled three pallets worth of stuff out, and only managed to get one pallet put away on the shelves. After every box of freight I put away I had to answer five or ten questions from customers or pull stuff down off of overheads or go to another department because they don’t have anyone there either. I had one customer get really upset because I told her I didn’t have anymore of something she wanted in the back. There are three really big sellers that for some reason I can’t get in right now, and people get pissy when I tell them I don’t have what they want. I don’t know why I can’t get them, call the 1-800 number and bother them so I can throw some freight OK?
