ToyMan and the Blustery Day

Well it is… It’s not my fault some dead guy came forward in a time machine and stole my title.

Got to go up to the parents’ place today. The registrations for the cars are due, and to make it worth my time to go do his my dad is paying for mine this year too. Yay! Ok, it’s only going to be like sixty dollars but still.

Still bummed about Critter and OtherGuy. Yeah, I know, not healthy (or very creative), but that’s how I feel right now. I’ll get over it. I suppose I have to update my front page again now.

I didn’t realize until last night that in rearranging my schedule so that Mego doesn’t have to work a thirty-three hour day that I’ve got Halloween off! Not that I have any plans. I might try to get in touch with AmandaC and see if there’s a sabat circle in the making but somehow I’m thinking not, she’s getting a little lazy about that sort of thing. Oh, and that totally screws Mego, BTW. He told me, "just so you know I’ll be coming in late on Halloween so I can take the kids out trick or treating." OK, but he didn’t ask, he told. And he has yet to clear it with either of the remaining managers that we work for. Sucks to be him. I really hope Queeg is closing that night and he gets busted showing up two hours late. That’ll be great.

I’m having a hard time adjusting to the weather this year, and it isn’t that cold yet. It’s been in the fifties overnight but when I go outside I get all shivery and what not like it’s in the thirties. That’s never happened before. There were times when I was in security that it would be in the twenties and I’d do a quick perimeter walk without a coat if it wasn’t windy. Not to worry, if I was going out to check on something suspicious I always wore my coat. You never know what’s lurking in the dark places no others will enter do you?

That’s all I’ve got. I kind of wish I had an HDMI cable so I could take my PS/3 and my The Incredible Hulk BD up to my parents’ place with me. (they’ve got an HDTV and I don’t). Of course I’m having to get the tags done because they won’t be coming over this month like they were supposed to. I may end up "borrowing" their HDTV after all. It’s a CRT and only does 1080i but still, it’s better than what I’ve got.
