Total Drama Work Day

Jeez! We promoted one of my hourly managers last week to a new super-grade hourly position, and her old department has just completely fallen apart. I guess since she isn’t there to make them do their jobs all the time now, they’ve just stopped. I was once told that if an area that is running smoothly falls apart after the manager leaves then he/she was doing more doing than training. The same person (my boss) ripped me today and wanted to know why I had let this department go so far downhill in just a week. ‘Scuse me, but I’ve only worked three shifts since she left, this was my fourth. Suck it, it isn’t my fault they need to be told how to wipe their butts every time they poo. They’re just idiots, that’s all there is to it. Yes, I’ll try to fix it, but I need my new hourly manager in place and I won’t get him for another two weeks.

Critter seems to have had a rocky end to the day, she’s supposed to call me to explain. I saw her last status update on Facebook and sent her a text asking what had happened. Prior to an hour ago she was having a really good day. I’d be willing to bet K’s daddy has something to do with it, but I’m just guessing.

Trying to get back in the habit of posting daily, so they may be a bit short at first, but I’ll get back in the swing of it. I might even be up for NoJoMo this year. Not gonna hold my breath though…
