Too Funny

TreeSap is still having some problems at work, so I took it to the Facility Manager today. He said she needs to come to him, name names, and it *will* stop. That makes me feel better. It tells me it’s not an official investigation because he had no idea it was going on.

TreeSap’s boyfriend was asking her the other day if anything had ever gone on between us, and she said no. Then he asked if she was sure, to which she replied, yes. She told him that we are just really good friends and she can talk to me about stuff that she can’t talk to other people about, and some of it she doesn’t feel comfortable talking to him about. That made me feel kind of good.

Saw a dead coyote on the side of the road today. It’s only the second time I’ve seen one here. That’s probably because we are right at the southeastern edge of their range. It looked really big though, so I originally thought it might be a wolf, but after researching it wolves have long since abandoned this part of the country. Wild ones, at least. I suppose someone could have tried domesticating one and it got loose or something, but I’m leaning towards coyote.

I get my bonus tomorrow! Yay! I’ll get my new TiVo ordered as soon as they wake their happy butts up out there in California. It’s a good thing I’m off on Friday though. I’d really hate to miss the end of Battlestar Galactica. I just have to remember to actually watch it. I’m so used to the TiVo I rarely remember when something is on unless the "Record" light on the front of the box is on. The hardest part of swapping out the boxes is the box I’ve got now knows what I like, and I don’t know if I can transfer all that to the new box or if I just have to let it learn all over again. But dammit, the one I’ve got has been learning for two years now and it’s only just now gotten really good at making suggestions. Of course I was sharing that one with Ember for a while too and that might have confused it. And I’m going to have to disentangle it from my entertainment system. That’s gonna suck. It’s in the middle of the stack, and that crap gets a little heavy. Not to mention I’ve got most of the cables cinched down and zip tied so there isn’t a rat’s nest back there so there isn’t much flexibility to rearrange things either.

Startin to yawn, so off to bed.
