This is TOTALLY WICKED!

Ok, think the last action scene from The Incredibles for the title there. I’m super excited! Why, might you ask? Because I have been off for two days, and I’m still off tomorrow, and I’m not missing any shifts. This is gonna be cool once I get used to the twelve-hour shifts again.

Got out a little around the yard today. Had to get dressed though, I was investigating strange banging noises from the basement. Turns out is was my strange neighbor from the corner apartment. He was cleaning the unfinished part of the basement up so he’d have a place to do his crafts when it gets cold or really rainy.

Watching TV right now. Kinda bored with it. I really wish I had some money to do something, that’s kind of the point of giving us the three days in a row, so we can have lives. Not sure where I’d go by myself, but I could probably find something. I’m so broke I’ve been eating my emergency "snow food" but I’ve got to tell you, Chef Boy-ar-dee and Chili get a little old after a while.

My dad bought the family pack upgrade for OS X, he’s already upgraded his laptop, and he plans on upgrading his desktop and my laptop as well. He originally thought he could upgrade my sister’s as well, but her’s was one of the last generation of MacBooks with the old processors, and the new OS X only works on Intel-based Macs. Sucks for her, but I know how she feels. I’ve got an older iMac that I can’t upgrade anymore either. I still let the kids use it when they are over here, they have their own account on it, but even the stuff they do on the Internet is getting to where it runs really slowly if it runs at all.

I’m gonna go now, I’m just rambling.

I have a mac. just thought I’d throw that out there. It’s getting slightly old now… maybe five years. Which a mac can handle way better than a PC but it’s still technology, and when i see what’s out there now… *drool*
