The snow is still hanging around
At least at my place.
It’s still hanging on strong at the cabin too, much more so than down here. I drove up there earlier today to check things out, make sure no trees had come over on it. That’s less likely now that my parents have had a tree surgeon come up and clean up some of the close in trees, but a lot of the trees up there are pretty tall.
Out where I live the smaller side roads and driveways are still snowy, and the deeper into the woods you go the more snow you find since there’s less sun back there.
I was supposed to watch K tomorrow, but the county canceled school, I guess some of them are still inaccessible to school buses. So I don’t know if I’m going to have all three of them or if their grandmother will have them. She’s had them this weekend, but I don’t know if she has to work tomorrow or not. She might be able to miss a day for this, but I don’t know. I’m kinda hoping Critter will get with me about what we’re doing before she shows up with all three of them…I like to be prepared.
There was something I was wanting to say, I just can’t remember what it was right now. Whatever.
Haven’t heard from work, so I’m assuming there have been no major staffing changes while I was gone. Found out I may not be staying in my current area when we rotate. Great. I was kind of hoping this would be more than just checking a box off on my resume, but at least that box has been checked now. Oh well.
Watching a thing on Discovery about asteroid impacts. They keep talking about Apophis like we don’t already know it’s gonna miss us by almost 18,000 miles. True, that’s inside the orbit of our geosynchronous satellites, but it’s still a miss, right? Seriously people, chill. I bet it’ll make for some cool pics if it passes on the night side of the planet.
