That’ll teach ’em

So, yeah, after the drama last week (or whenever) with the snow I didn’t even hesitate this morning when I got up and saw there was even more snow on top of the three inches that fell yesterday. I used a plastic level to scrape my windshield off and vowed not to stop until I was in a ditch or at work.

I didn’t make it to work.

I’m OK though, it was a kind of gentle slide on the ice, and I’m not even sure I bent any sheet metal, but I’m stuck until it thaws for sure, and may need a tow to get out. Crapola. No, you stupid spell-checker, not CRAYola, CRAPola. geez….

So I called work and let them know, and they said OK, thanks for letting us know. Goobers.

I’m pretty well stuck at home then, at least through the day. If we get some warmer temperatures I might hike back up there and try to wiggle my way out. Oh yeah, I was about a half-mile from home when I got stuck. It’s actually in the same place I almost got stuck last time and turned around. Funny that, it’s almost like I knew what I was talking about when I told them the roads were impassable.

Hope you can get it out soon. Enjoy being at home and the storm, if you can
