Taking a day off, sort of

I caught up with AmandaC last night. I found the franchise she works at and drove up there. She wasn’t there then but she was working that night, so I left Belle’s phone for her. She sent me a text as soon as she got it, and we talked as long as we could while she was on the way home. There isn’t cell service up at her place – it’s way out there.

Haven’t done any moving today and I don’t really feel bad about it. I got my new TiVo box today, and it’s all set up and waiting for the cable company to come out on Monday and put the CableCARDs in. I’ve moved all my season passes that have HD equivalents to the new box, and I’ve deleted the old season passes (for shows that air after Monday) from the old box. Gonna keep ’em both, I think I covered that before though. I might put the SD box in the guest room, or maybe my room, but I’m not decided on that yet. As long as it’s networked I can still pull the recordings over to the HD box and watch them on the good TV.

The landlord is out on his Bobcat again, I’ll be really glad when he’s finished with all that.

Had a small problem with the TV earlier. It just locked up completely and wouldn’t let me use the remote or the on-board controls. When I finally got those back up there wasn’t any sound. It’s finally fixed though, it’s amazing what unplugging it from the wall can do for an electronic device.

Yeah. Bored now.
