Soooo Tired

I had to leave work early yesterday or I’d have never made it home. I’ve been up for about an hour now and I’m already feeling tired. Crap.

There was some strange news from down around Atlanta over the weekend. Apparently a couple was sitting at home dropping acid and thought it would be fun to let their dog try. Not cool. Predictably, the dog freaks out. I’m assuming that acid is similar to ecstasy and causes your body heat to increase because I can’t think of another reason they’d both be completely nude with the front door open. Why is that relevant? Because the dog, on an acid trip, ran out the front door and the couple ran out after it trying to corral it. The dog was hit by a car and later put down due to the severity of it’s injuries. The neighbors called the cops when they saw the couple running around the neighborhood totally nude calling for their dog.

To the best of my knowledge they’ve only been charged with possession, public intoxication, and public indecency. No word on whether an animal cruelty charge will be added, but I can’t imagine it would make a huge difference to their situation.

I miss K. I haven’t seen her for more than an hour or so for a couple of months. It sucks. I can not wait to get off overnights. I’ve got to wither get promoted (so I only have to do six months at a time) or get a totally new job before my next overnight rotation. I can’t do this again.
