Snow Day!

Well, I just called in to work, and they insisted that the roads were wide open. Yeah, down in the valley they probably are, but up here on the mountain they aren’t. I can’t even get out of my driveway and they are bitching and moaning about it.

I was told I needed to re-evaluate my situation when the sun came up. What the hell? With everyone else they’re always, "well if you can’t make it you can’t make it, we’ll make do without you." As a manager I’ve always been told that in these situations I can not question an employee when they say they are snowed in, no matter that the person that lives next to them made it in to work. It just isn’t done. And now I’m being questioned by someone who lives seventy miles west of here and eight hundred or so feet lower in elevation.

Screw You Sir.

I sent them a picture of my insurance card buried in the snow via MMS so they can judge how deep it is for themselves. Pricks.
