Shopping trip

Critter finally got her tax refund. We went to lunch and then I went with her when she went shopping. That was fun, and it’s a good thing we were in my truck and not her car.

A computer, a 32" LCD television, a small computer desk, and a bag or two of miscellaneous stuff for the kids and house we were all done. I grabbed a money order for my rent and she paid some bills and then it was back to her place.

Putting the TV together was a bit of a struggle – the stand was not at all cooperative, but we managed. She didn’t put the computer or the computer desk together since K’s dad was coming over to pick K up and Critter wanted to watch her new TV. She’s having to use the composite input right now, so the picture doesn’t look as good as it will, but she didn’t have component cables or an HDMI cable and didn’t want to spend another $30 on them just then.

Supposed to be getting a ton of snow tonight but I don’t think it’s going to happen. I think the super cold air stalled at the Tennessee line and all we’re going to get is really cold rain. That sucks.

So assuming there isn’t a foot or more of snow on the ground in the morning I’ll be heading back to work. The rotations got a little screwed up during the holidays and we’re still one manager short so I’ll only be working the weekend before I get another three days off. Then I’ll be back to 3/3.

So here’s hoping for snow!

Of course if I can’t get to work I can’t see Belle…crap.

It’s always fun to shop with someone else’s money. Of course, most of the time YOU don’t get anything. LOL
