Second verse, same as the first
Same deal last night, but in addition to the ice on the roads I had reduced visibility due to the blowing snow. It got worse the closer I got to work. The system must have been moving this way because right after I got to work it just kind of died out over there, and not a single flake of snow stuck to my car all night long if that tells you anything.
Coming home was relatively easy. There were a few spots I was careful of since I know they are shaded by trees and such most of the day, and as a result would not have been warmed by the sun either yesterday or this morning and patchy ice was a real possiblility. The next time I’m behind someone on a bridge or over pass and they slam on their brakes when they see that stupid "Bridge May Ice in Winter" sign I’m not stopping. I’m just gonna plow into them and push ’em over the edge. The point of the signs (which are there all the time, not just when it snows) is to serve as a constant reminder so you can ease off your speed as you approach the bridge, not slam on your brakes in the middle of a sheet of ice or cause the folks behind you to lose traction while they are slamming on their brakes to avoid hitting your stupid ass.
I really hate drivers with no sense at all.
I’ve got some pictures of the snow and stuff, but I’m a little tired and don’t feel like wrestling with PhotoBucket right now. I’m for sure going to put up the pics of the snow-covered frozen pond at the foot of the hill, it’s really neat.
That’s it for now.
Rowl!!!just saying hi!!
