S-Dawg and Queeg update

First the update on Queeg. It sounds like she’s a domineering control freak at home too. Her hubby told a story to some co-workers and that story made it’s way through friends back to one of MY co-workers. It seems they were sitting on the couch watching TV and she suddenly decided the coffee table was unacceptably dirty. She said to hubby (as if she were giving directions at the store) "go get some glass cleaner and clean this table now." He just looked at her and remarked that it didn’t seem that dirty and it would just look this way again tomorrow. To which she replied, "I DON"T CARE GET IT CLEAN NOW!" Lovely woman.

I was in town for a bit earlier today so I went by to check for news about S-Dawg at his store. It doesn’t look good. They are going to do another scan of some sort today (no one knew if it was a CT or MRI, but I’m guessing MRI) and then decisions would be made. As Ember mentioned in one of her notes his father has signed a DNR, so if he codes that’s pretty much it. The person I talked too, an ex-girlfriend of his, went to see him last night. She’s really torn up about this. I’m not even sure she’s going to be able to function today. I gave her my cell phone number so she can keep me updated. I’ll probably hear from Critter as well, but I want to make sure I get the news. I know Ember would probably call but her first concern is probably going to be taking care of Rah-Rah and the kids, and I’m OK with that. She’s known them a lot longer than she’s known me, and was practically Rah-Rah’s older child’s night-time mommy for the first year of her life (she and Rah-Rah worked opposite shifts and shared child care duties).

That’s it for now. I have to be up in six or seven hours so I should probably try to get some sleep. I’ll have more details later in the week about how working 99% of the new freight and 100% of the leftovers from day shift and prior nights is unacceptable. It was so bad this morning I almost quit and Queeg wasn’t even there.
