Restful Easter

I did absolutely nothing at all for most of today and I’m very proud of it. I did, after four hours of trying, muster the energy to drive into town and buy a few groceries. I would have waited until tomorrow but I had a craving for Taco Bell that would not be put off by anything else.

I have an eye appointment tomorrow, and coincidentally my right contact tore this morning. Naturally I waited too long to make the appointment and I don’t have a replacement to wear tomorrow. They tend to get aggravated at that; for some reason they want to do an evaluation with the lenses in and one with the lenses out before they get down to the actual exam.

I might be having lunch with Critter tomorrow. I’ve got to give her a call after my exam to see if she’s still available. She sounded interested but with three kids you never know what’s around the bend.

I’m really impressed with my GPS unit. Just for fun I used it to map a route to the store today and it had already programmed a route around a congested area that locals always take but isn’t the most direct way. Pretty cool.
