Really bored with no way around

Living in the woods is all fine and great as long as you have a way to get out of the woods when you want to, which I don’t right now.

Still haven’t heard back from the insurance company, hopefully they can get their thumbs out and get the car checked out tomorrow so I can get a firm estimate on how long I’ll have to have a rental.

Wow, just saw Jim Shockey take down a huge wild hog with an air rifle. Crazy. And that was just a commercial, he’s actually after Big Horn sheep in Texas. They’re making some crazy shots, I think the closest one has been 175 yds.

So I obviously made it through the storms. Not even a lot of wind or anything in my immediate area. The thunderstorms were intense. When we got hit by a band it was like someone had turned a fire hose on the roof. Didn’t get a lot of sleep as a result; the rain was so loud when it started it woke me up and it always stopped so fast it startled me awake too.

So I’m totally bored, trying not to spend any money on Amazon (including Kindle books) while I’m stuck here. You’d think I’d be set with four game consoles, a TiVo, Netflix, broadband Internet and more DVDs and BDs than I can shake a stick at but I get bored very easily.

I cannot believe the horrible storms. I’m glad you were safe and that bored is the worst it got for you. 🙂
