I have to tell you that Stargate: The Ark of Truth was very good. It was well worth the twenty or so dollars the DVD cost me. I just wish they’d been able to release it theatrically.

Made a trip into town today for some pizza and a few other things. I was finally able to get some oil for my car so now I’m no longer a quart low. I bought a new funnel to keep in the truck as well since the old one has mysteriously disappeared. I was able to find the extra part I needed for Ember’s entertainment center at Lowes of all places. They aren’t exactly on the top of my list for A/V supplies but maybe they should be. They’ve got all kinds of stuff you’d never think they carried: Ethernet patch cables, bulk cables, connectors, cutters, crimpers, wall plates, the whole range of A/V cables from 75 ohm coax all the way up to gold-plated HDMI cables. And they’re easier to deal with than the local Radio Shack. I am little surprised the local Wal-Mart doesn’t have any of that stuff in the electronics department though.

Anyway, I got Ember’s DVD/VCR hooked up, but she’s going to have to run the PS/2 through it to use both of them. I tested it and everything to make sure it worked and it does. I couldn’t find Starshine this time (the ferret) but I am sure she was napping peacefully somewhere in a pile of laundry.

I so love having my Treo back. Every time I think of something I need to do I stop and put it on my “to-do” list for whatever day I need to do it. I also have every single one of my phone numbers in the palm of my hand. Yes, it’s unlikely that I’ll ever call my favorite pizza delivery place in Orlando again, but I could if I wanted to. I’m still going to go for the newer one as soon as I get my window paid for.

I’m a little tired right now, but I’m going to see if I can skip the nap today. In the middle of a coughing fit right now. It smells like someone is over-heating sausage or bacon grease and it’s getting all smoky. I can almost feel the air in my nose and throat. Blech!
