Ramblings

I was supposed to have only worked five hours today instead of the normal ten, but I ended up working seven. The short day was supposed to be payback for the weekend.

We had, or thought we had, a fire at the store this morning. I drove up and there was a fire engine in front of the store and I was pissed that no one had called me. I finally got the overnight manager on the walkie, and met up with him in the back of the store. I asked when our manager was going to be there and he said he didn’t know, he hadn’t called him. I asked if the manager that was due in after me was coming in early, and again, no call. I called the next manager in while the overnight manager called our manager.

There was no fire, by the way. We aren’t sure where the smoke was coming from, but we had an electrician out to inspect all the junction boxes and fans in the area.

Got to get my schedules finished tomorrow before corporate locks us out and starts printing them for us.

Things are starting to go missing around the apartment complex. I’ve started locking my doors all the time now, for the first time in more than a year.

That’s about it for now. Kind of tired, but I’m trying to get caught up with Inuyasha.

I miss sushi night. I won’t be able to go with Ember for a few months because her school schedule changed.

My laptop has a crack in it, that can’t be good.
