Rainy day

It’s raining and the wind is blowing fairly steadily and strong. All in all a good day for a nap, or to curl up next to the fireplace with a book or girlfriend. Either way is good at this point.

I’ve got to go down and see Ember sometime before the holiday madness sets in, but with the two new managers not starting *until* the holiday madness sets in I may not be able to. Ah hell, I’ll probably just have to go without sleep for a day or two is all, I gotta go see Ember.

She’s going to be my wingman when we go out. She might as well be my pilot cause I’m really bad at that sort of thing. As I’ve mentioned before, Dirty Girl practically dared me to go out with her and Critter and I just sort of happened, so I’m almost totally ignorant of the subtle clues that differentiate between, "buy me a drink and you’re gonna get lucky" and "one more word and I’m calling the cops" so I really need the help.

I’ve also had an offer from one of my fave’s to introduce me to a friend of hers. That would work too. This may be the same person she wanted to introduce me to when Critter first left me last year, but I’m not sure. It’s just a matter of finding a good time to do it.

I"m going to go browse that electronics catalog I got yesterday to see if there was anything really good I missed and then I have to try to get back to bed since I work tonight. I slept from around 0100 to 0600 (it was supposed to be a nap) and it’s now 1000 and I have to be up and moving no later than 1830.
