Pretty good day [Edit]

Got a text from Critter while I was at work. It seems K had just found the stuff I left when I fixed the step. I just checked and I see I never mentioned that…

I bought a couple of activity pads for the girls at work last week and kept forgetting to drop them off. It was an effort to keep them quiet for a few hours every day so Critter could have some peace, take a nap, talk on the phone. You know, the little things single parents don’t often get to do when the kids are home all day. I also left the car charger I bought for Critter’s cell phone the week before.

So we exchanged a few messages, she sent me a picture of K and a recording of her saying "tank oo ToyMan!" She is *so* cute!

So that’s two days gone by without me initiating contact. Go me!

I mentioned the texts to Carla (and actually showed her the one with K) and she thinks K is just the cutest too.

And now I *think* Carla and I are flirting on Facebook. Very strange…

I just realized that I’ve spent a lot more time talking/texting with Critter since I *stopped* talking/texting with her than I did before. Totally weird.
