Party news and shiny stuff….

Did the laundry in record time today. I asked my mom to wrap two of Ember’s presents, and I’ll do the other two boxes next weekend (I had to find boxes). I might have spent a little too much, but I want her happy, and Sammie’s going to be gone so I have to do my part.

Amanda S. may be getting a ring for Christmas, or possibly tonight, I’m not real sure on the details. I got an e-mail from her saying that her boyfriend told her he had bought her something round and now she couldn’t yell at him anymore. Sounds like a ring to both of us.

Sammie’s party was good. He opened his Christmas gifts early and liked what I had gotten him. The festivities actually continued last night after I took Meg and Nay home: some more people came by and got Sammie even drunker than he was when I left. That’s some serious drunk there, and in true Navy fashion his girlfriend put him in bed (face down) and watched him all night to make sure he was OK. Ember’s really good to him. They didn’t get up until around 16:00 today. Poor things….
