Not a lot to say

I had a therapy session scheduled for the twenty-fifth, but I called and cancelled it. She didn’t ask me to make another appointment at the end of our last session but I went ahead and made one out of habit.

I get to baby-sit K all day tomorrow, and I’ll be picking D & B up from school and keeping them until 1900 or so because Critter has to work an extra day this week. I’ll be doing the same thing next week for the same reason. Neither of us can figure out why she’s being scheduled on Friday instead of Sunday, since there are only two people there for her job on Sunday and you need three a day minimum to cover lunches and stuff. Also K is normally at her father’s house on the weekend and if D & B’s dad doesn’t have them K’s dad does, so she has no child-care issues on the weekends like she does during the week. No big, I told her I’d help and I am. I actually thought K would be spending the night so Critter didn’t have to keep her out of trouble/entertained and get D & B ready for school and herself ready for work all at the same time, but I either misunderstood or Critter changed her mind.

I have coloring books, crayons (regular and large), Hannah Montana DVD’s and Finding Nemo all ready to go. I’ll probably take K to McDonald’s for lunch and maybe swing by work and see Critter too.

It seems Rah-Rah has written me off since I’m still friends with Critter. I saw her earlier today and waved, but got ignored, so I called her name and said hi but barely got a wave in return. Oh well, her loss.

Just found out AmandaC is in a bit of a sticky situation. I really wish I could help out, but I can’t.

I’ve got to get all my “extra” stuff gone through and sorted. I’ve got stuff in plastic crates that have been in crates for at least nine months now and some as long as two years. I obviously don’t need the stuff or I’d have gotten it out by now. Some of it is books I don’t have shelves for, so I’m keeping those, but I’m not sure what’s in the rest of them.

I’m giving blood next Thursday. Yay! Critter can’t, she went to a different drive last time and she’s out of sync with Ember and me now. Boo!

There was a bit of a funny moment with a wasp earlier today. It got in when I came back from town the first time, and I was chasing it with a broom. I managed to break the broom and still not kill the wasp the first time, but I picked up the piece with the bristles and finally got it killed. The thing that was funny was that when the broom broke I had this picture flash in my head of the Dark Alliance character inventory screen – Shoddy Broom – Damage: 1-2, Gold: 11, Weight: 3lbs. I almost lost the wasp I was laughing at myself so hard. I suppose I could go on about my lack of ranks in the Long Weapon Focus feat that caused me to miss so many times, but I won’t.

I had a lot more to talk about when I sat down, but for some reason my mind is totally blank right now. I’ll probably have more to say tomorrow.
