Movin’ on out…

Just checked in on Ember’s apartment and it looks like Sammie has picked up his first load. Not sure where he’s taking it though.

I took another load of stuff over to the new place. My parents dropped off my new TV cabinet and a bed frame for me yesterday. They kept insisting that the bed frame was adjustable down to queen size (like my current mattress) but it turns out it isn’t. So I got their old king size box springs and mattress and I’m putting my queen size in the second bedroom as soon as I buy a new frame to replace to one I’m using now. I think it was a plot to get rid of the extra bedding myself but I guess it worked out.

I’ve got the first of two couches in the living room, the other one is coming from my old place. I’m going to move all the small stuff and as much of the big stuff as I can by myself, I figure if I’ve only got two or three big pieces left at the end (mattress/box spring, desk, sofa) it’ll be easier to get a few people to help. I’ve got to get my old bed frame and entertainment center down to the local furniture donation place though. I might actually just borrow my dad’s chain saw and cut up the entertainment center since it’s on its last legs anyway. Whatever.
