Movie and Buddy Time

The movie, what I remember of it, was really good. I think I must have fallen asleep a couple of times because it seemed a little choppy to me. There was one occasion where they were fighting something and I have no idea where it came from, so I must have been asleep. I just hope I didn’t snore.

Ember drove us from the theater to her work to pick up her car so I could take a nap, and then she called me once we got out on the highway and helped keep me up until I got home. Yay Ember!

Still haven’t heard from Critter. She may have gone to pick the kids up at their grandmother’s place, I know the reception is kind of spotty once she crosses the state line but it’s pretty good up to that point (she has to go the same way I did when I was in training to be a manager). That’s if the kids were at their grandmother’s, I’m not even sure about that.

I can’t remember how it came up but Ember teased me about my OCD a little bit. I told her I’d never noticed it because I thought doing things the same way every time showed consistency. She said that was true to a point but I’m well beyond that.

I’ve burned new driving CD’s for my truck. I like to change the music up a bit every now and then. Not by a lot, but it’s a little weird when I can remember the order of the songs since I’ve been playing the same four CD’s over and over again. In addition to changing some of the music out I’ve found enough extra songs to add a fifth disk, Yay! The changer will actually hold six, but the little slide thingy in the magazine for slot six is missing. And before I took possession of the truck there were TWO magazines for the changer, one actually in the changer and another one kept in the center console. Naturally the second magazine disappeared before the truck was turned over to me and my dad swears he only ever had one. Yeah, OK. I might have some issues but why would I imagine an extra magazine AND the difficulty in digging around it every time I needed something out of the center console on that business trip we took together four years ago?

Oh yeah, Ember thinks that driving nakie in the great state of Georgia gets you a trip to jail, so I’ll have to research that before I do it again.
