More moving stories

Took some more stuff up. I’ve got all my small appliances moved and a good chunk of the non-perishable food. All the DVD’s and VHS tapes as well as the bookcase they were in are now moved as well. And the booze, all the booze is moved. Not that I drink, but I keep a small stock for friends.

AmandaS came over while I was there. We talked for a bit and I told her what I was going to do with things. I want to have a get together when I get settled. I’ve got plenty of room to have everyone over. I’m thinking Rah-Rah, S-Dawg, Meg and Nay, Ember, AmandaS, Amber and Jer, Maybe AmandaC if her husband will let her. I want to get an outdoor fireplace and a grill first though.

I’ve got to get my schedule for the next month so I can get my cable and phone (and DSL) moved.

It’s really dark out there at my new place. I mean REALLY dark. I’d forgotten how dark the night actually gets out in the country. I mean even my parents’ place is too close to town for it to get that dark. I like it.

I need to get a shotgun. We’re way out in the middle of nowhere, dialing 911 is usually done after the shooting stops. That’s how far out we are. Cool.

I hope I can actually get DSL out there….
