Mego Details

OK, here’s what I have so far:

On Tuesday, while I was enjoying my newly returned day off, some stuff went down at work with Mego. He ended up leaving the company for personal reasons. That’s the official story and all I actually know.

Word is there may be an arrest involved, and stories in the local papers. I’ll fill in the details once I know them. I really hate that this has happened. I didn’t much like him, I thought he was a self-centered ass myself, but not a bad person. Guess that might have been an incorrect assumption. Like I said, I’ll know more later. I’ll keep doing searches on the paper for the town he lives in and the town I work in. Hell, I might even buy one this week. It’s not something I normally do since I don’t have a bird or sell fried fish…

I was without water this morning. Had to drive all the way to the cabin to take a shower – forty miles out of the way. And to top it off, they didn’t really need me today, they could have given me the day off and switched me over to the schedule I’m supposed to be working. Goobers.

Oh, and with Mego gone I’ll be the only other salaried manager in the building tomorrow besides the Facility Manager, which means that I’m the official Butt Monkey tomorrow. Dammit.

I’ve got water now, hopefully I’ll still have it in the morning, because I’m nearly out of gas and can’t run all over again tomorrow. I should have filed up on the way home, but I just wasn’t in the mood.
