Maybe it’s a sign…
Queeg got a phone call about me yesterday from another store.
Of course it’s the store in Alaska, not Atlanta.
I’ll have to wait and see if they want to talk to me or not, but the fact that I was in the bottom-most (4th) pool of people (#1 is people in that district, #2 is people within a hundred miles, #3 is people in the same state, and #4 is everone the hell else) is a pretty good indicator that I might actually have a shot.
I’m told she gave me a good reference. I was told she’s of the opinion that I’m doing much better as a manager now and she doesn’t want to hold me back.
I don’t know if I’m actually doing better overall or if I’m just doing better at not getting yelled at. Either way…
It never rains, but it pours.
RYN: He said he wasn’t holding his trumpet the way he was supposed to and it fell off. I asked why it wasn’t in his pocket and he couldn’t give me a good answer. $40 is the beginning price; it really depends on the size of the mouthpiece.

lucybugg– i used to play trumpet if he is droping his mouthpeice tell him to give a small twist after he puts it in and it will help with that, just like a quarter turn or it will get too snug and not come back out…

ryn: Yeah, wasn’t too bad. Was only doing 35-40 when I had to hit the brakes. Speed limit in there was 40, so I wasn’t speeding. Just caught off-guard. I tried to use the “gee, can I get a new bike if this one’s totalled” excuse. It didn’t fly. Bike isn’t totalled. A girl’s gotta try, tho! 😀
