Lost a good one today
Just got in from work. Amanda S quit today. I’ve been trying to get her off the front for a while now. I thought she’d be happy in the CO, but that only lasted six months due to personality issues. She was ready to move up, all she needed was floor experience. I’ve sent two e-mails to Tim in the past three months mentioning her specifically as an example of who I wanted in my department because I knew that once she was trained, she’s get the job done; and when the time came and I was ready to move on, she’d be a viable candidate for my job. The company has lost much more than Amanda has today, and I don’t know if they realize it.
Going to hop over to your side of the computer now and put a bookmark to this in the browser for you. And, yes, I did have to ask. Even though there isn’t anything there you do have a reasonable expectation of privacy in my eyes. Even if you changed the password I could still get in, but I won’t unless there is compelling need (usually meaning blood or guns are involved) because it would be rude. You need to feel comfortable using the computer, because that’s why I set up the account. You have access to all the applications, including Microsoft Office and Quicken, so do what you will. The operating system segregates the data, so if you do decide to use Quicken you can’t see my banking stuff and I won’t be able to see yours. I can’t see your Office stuff and you can’t see mine, it’s cool. I’ve got you set up so you can’t install or delete anything that might kill the computer so there’s nothing to worry about along those lines.
