Juicy Blast from the Past

You’re going to love this: I just found out that Mego put in for unemployment benefits. He got them on a provisional basis since he lied on the application. Of course we appealed the ruling, and he kept pushing the date for the hearing. So they finally have the hearing, and he loses. Dimwit.

I can’t go into the reason he was fired, but it was for cause and there was an arrest made. He even admitted what he did at the hearing, and when the mediator/arbitrator/whatever asked him why, if he was admitting to the reason he was fired at the hearing, and he signed a statement to the same effect at the time he was terminated, did he put a completely different reason on his unemployment application? I wish I had been able to be there, it must have been fun to watch.

So anyway he has to repay, in full and immediately, every last dime of the unemployment benefits he’s received to date.

There is justice in the world.
